Bamboo Bookkeeping Services Limited was established by Clare Givnan in 2018. With more than 10 years experience successfully running Finance Departments for other companies, it was always a burning desire for Clare to establish her own business.
I had been a key member of the management team for telecommunications companies of multi-million pound turnovers, managing the finance department, the cash flow, implementing policies and processes aiding the effective and efficient operation of the department and business and ensuring the accounts were accurate and up to date. In 2017 I sold my shares and left the company I was working for. I started freelancing and was never out of work.
It was the encouragement I needed to register the company I had always wanted and I wanted a name which embodied my core values – something which represented the solid but flexible service I provide, whilst being an economic option for businesses who need bookkeeping support but perhaps not enough to warrant the extra overheads of employing an extra person – and so Bamboo Bookkeeping Services Limited was born.
By creating a bookkeeping company, I can build a business based on a service I truly believe in. Not only can I build on the skills I have acquired over the years, but my clients are benefiting from my 10+ years experience working with multi-million pound turnover companies.
My work ethos is simple. I treat each client’s business as if it were my own. I understand the importance attached to each task and how successful completion of these tasks works towards achieving the overall objective of my client. It’s important to me to deliver a service that I am proud of and one that positively affects our clients.
